Seeking a staff Pharmacist to provide pharmaceutical services to patients in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The pharmacist is responsible for consulting with prescribers, assisting patients, preparing and dispensing medications, and maintaining drug utilization records. - Acts as a resource for the provision of medication information for patients, physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
- Identifies, recommends, resolves, and prevents medication ~ related problems through the intervention with physicians.
- Supervises and direct pharmacy support personnel.
- Fills, prepares and dispenses medications as prescribed.
- Provides consultation to the medical staff.
- Maintains current and accurate patient medication profiles.
- Participates in quality assurance monitoring.
- Maintains all required pharmaceutical/prescription files and records.
Requirements:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree
At least 1 year of experience in a pharmacy setting preferred
Residency preferred
Eligible for Licensure within 60 days of hire
