Currently looking for a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our private, clinic in  Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The Center offers a comprehensive array of quality mental health and substance abuse treatment services, including outpatient counseling, adult residential services, prevention education, psychiatric treatment, crisis counseling, case management, screening and referral, and wellness programming for all ages.

Job Description:

Outpatient position, with no call. Typical hours are 8-5, Monday through Friday. Candidate will see both adults and children, joining a full time psychiatrist who has been with the practice for 10 years along with another full-time ARNP with two LPN’s. Must perform evaluations lasting an hour and medication checks lasting 20 minutes. Generally will see no more than eight new patients per week. Will perform approximately 12-18 medication checks per day. There is an EMR system in place for dictation and notes.
