We are looking to add a full-time Family Physician to the highly skilled hospital staff  in St. Joseph, Missouri. Join a reputable practice providing patient care in a team-based environment.

Overview:
– Join 2 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers
– Large patient base and significant opportunity for growth
– 25-30 patients per day
– Flexible weekday clinic hours
– Call is 1:4

Summary:

The Physician will provide patient care within assigned facilities, nursing homes, hospital rounds, or other patient care as assigned by the Medical Director. Call duties will be shared equally with all other Physician participating on hospital rotations. Physician works independently without day-to-day supervision of the performance of his or her work in all phases of family practice, office, hospital, home, and long-term care. Physician will co-manage, observe, support, advise and consult on patients cared for by mid-level practitioners, and is directly responsible to the Medical Director.

Qualifications:

Current state license
Current CPR certification.
BC/BE Family Practice
Must maintain licensure and certification

Must have the ability to work well with others in a professional manner in a team oriented environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, work both independently and as a team.
