Adult Medicine Director needed in Southeast Massachusetts

Duties:
– Mentor new Physicians
– Evaluate adult medicine team
– Conduct department meetings
– Prepare for JCAHO and other surveys
– Ensure 330 Health Care Plan is implemented

Qualifications:
– Board certification in Internal Medicine required
– Preference for Physicians with 3 or more years of clinical experience as well as demonstrated leadership skills
– Experience in a community health environment preferred
– Experience in grant writing, proposal development and continuous improvement process preferred
– Diverse community with high population of Portuguese and Spanish speaking patients
– Health center is located within steps of the seacoast in a recently revitalized historic waterfront district
