We are seeking a behavioral health provider to fill a new behavioral health position, initially on a part-time basis (20 to 30 hours a week, a maximum of three office days) and to work collaboratively within an integrated healthcare model in a rural setting. We are located 2.5 hours north of San Francisco.

We are looking for a self-motivated clinician who enjoys providing flexible, evidenced-based treatment modalities (e.g. CBT, DBT, MI, ACT, etc.) to treat the full spectrum of DSM-V disorders across the age span. Our preference is for a licensed psychologist or licensed clinical social worker; the opportunity for supervision for interns and psychological assistants is available for the right candidate.

The position focuses primarily on brief- and long-term psychotherapy for individuals, families and couples in a fast-paced community health center. Medical and Behavioral Health providers consult with one another to provide patients with an holistic health care experience.

The position includes conducting biopsychosocial intakes for new patients, including diagnostics and risk assessment; ability to use clinical judgment when a patient requires higher level of care and/or recommendation for a 5150 procedure; and providing referrals for psychiatric services when necessary. Experience working with an electronic health records system and fluency in Spanish are desirable although not determinative.
