We are looking to add a full-time Family Physician to a primary care group in Wilmington, North Carolina. Join a highly skilled staff focused on community care and education.

Overview:
– Outpatient – No call
– Join team of physicians and advanced practice providers
– Primary care services
– 4-day work week option
– Mostly adult patients but some peds
– Newly renovated facilities

Summary:

The Physician will provide patient care within assigned facilities, nursing homes, hospital rounds, or other patient care as assigned by the Medical Director. Call duties will be shared equally with all other Physician participating on hospital rotations. Physician works independently without day-to-day supervision of the performance of his or her work in all phases of family practice, office, hospital, home, and long-term care. Physician will co-manage, observe, support, advise and consult on patients cared for by mid-level practitioners, and is directly responsible to the Medical Director.

Qualifications:

Current state license
Current CPR certification.
BC/BE Family Practice
Must maintain licensure and certification

Must have the ability to work well with others in a professional manner in a team oriented environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be flexible, work both independently and as a team.
